Creationism or Evolutionism - Which One is for Real?

While Evolutionism and Creationism ¹ are both a present day debate regarding the origins of life, they both imply a dispute between the interpretation of the creation story and the proponents of evolution.

The Evolution theory is nothing else but man’s trying to assert his autonomy and cover up any reason why he would need to be held responsible for his sins ². Evolution teaches that everything there is on planet Earth has been the product of an explosion of atoms that led to another reaction and another, called the chain reaction. Thus the planet was formed, the animals in it evolved from a stage to another.

On the other side, Creationism theory is simply put as the story of the Bible, the creation of all things by God Almighty, who is in control of the universe and everything there is in it is governed by His laws, His power and His command.

A Talk.Origin newsgroup – proponents of evolution – suggested that “no one has ever presented a scientific theory of creation to us”, without which they “find it impossible to objectively evaluate the idea of creationism” ³. The main idea here is the fact that Creationism has been seen by the proponents of evolution as a willful ignorance of the real facts of the Creation in itself, or an outright dishonesty about what is sustained by the Creationism Theory.

Simply put, the two theories argue on the idea of the religious – Creationism – and the idea of humanism – Evolution – in regards to the empirical dates of the existence of everything around us.

Looking at the two theories, what comes first into my mind is the question about why evolution has stopped. Inside the history of the humanity we find documented truths that relate to the historicity of the earth, the birth of Jesus Christ, as the Son of God sent to earth to save mankind from sin, and many archeological discoveries sustaining the idea of a Creator, thus the idea of Creationism.

Apparently man has proven in the time of history that he has become more and more entangled in scientific definitions for everything there is around him; he not only complicated the pure reality, but also believed an idea that was invented by some men who had been reticent and absolute rejecters of the faith, of the religious part that exists in every human being on this planet, and were total ignorant of their condition. The relationship of man with the Creator was little by little covered up with different modern theories, it became the dissatisfactory point in the atheists’ life, therefore the idea and the truth about a creation has been rejected for the sake of scientific arguments: presuppositions and incoherent data. These had been proved in time and stand to be enough evidence to the fact that life on Earth has been designed, created and sustained even now by a Creator who did all the things around us.
